Some of these events are summer camp, retreats, mission trips, and much more.  The youth also hold fundraisers throughout the year to help supplement some of the money needed to attend the events.  No one is ever left out.

A Note From the Youth Pastor
Why do I do youth ministry?  To help adolescents transition into young adult Christians actively seeking and serving God.  I pray that God, through the Holy Spirit, will use me to provide Christian guidance, encouragement, accountability, and stability and help me model the active Christian lifestyle.  The church is to help prepare the next generation to develop a life-long relationship with Christ as they walk alongside adolescents during their individuation process and growth in their faith.  The church must be prepared to teach the next generation about Christ. Romans 10:14, 17 says, “14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed?  And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching? … 17So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”  As adults we must proclaim to the next generation the message of Christ so they can hear the Word.  Otherwise, we cannot expect adolescents to believe in a God that they have not heard about.
